This doll was dressed as a ‘Yeoman of the Guard’ or ‘Beefeater’ as they are commonly known. Our customer wanted a gift for a colleague with whom he had worked for sometime. The recipient was returning to her native America and he wanted the doll to be something typically British as a memento of her time in England. There are far less male dressed dolls available than female and as the outfit was appreciated so much, we have decided to make this outfit one of our regular stock items.
