The Porcelain Doll named ‘Alice in Wonderland’ is based on the well known story by Lewis Carroll.

The ‘Alice in Wonderland’ doll is dressed in traditional blue and wears a white cotton pinafore. Her dress is of blue cotton edged with blue and white trimming, similar to small bows, round the hem, neck and cuffs. The doll’s pinafore is also white cotton, finished all round with ‘broderie anglais’. The sleeves, too, have ‘broderie anglais’ above the cuffs.

This porcelain doll wears a petticoat of white cotton, slightly longer than her dress, so that the hem edged with ‘broderie anglais’ shows below.

Of course, this doll would not be complete without the traditional ‘Alice’ band in her hair.
