The Porcelain Doll named ‘Lavender’s Blue’ is based on the well-known Nursery Rhyme of that name.

The sleeves are of ‘Eau-de-Nile’ green, with lavender cuffs, which are again trimmed with the same edging as the dress. This beautiful doll is wearing a sleeveless waistcoat in lavender dupion silk, again edged to match the dress. It is gathered at the back waist and finished off with the same edging. The ‘Lavender’s Blue’ porcelain doll is also wearing a matching hat, with trimming identical to the dress, lace and a bow on the front brim. One of the most striking features of this doll’s dress is the hand-embroidered stems of lavender on the front of the skirt.
